Pace of Play Time Standards
This pace of play policy requires the Club to post and distribute the following table. The table provides the time
that each group should be at each tee and ready to tee off to support the expected Hampton Hall Club pace of
play standards. The chart below reflects a 4 minute restroom break after holes 4,12 and at the turn when golf
carts are allowed on the fairway. Cart restrictions add 1 minute per restricted hole. This Pace of Play Policy has
been established for the enjoyment of all golfers. If the group ahead is playing “on pace” please be considerate
of them even if your group has the ability to play faster.
Here are a few suggestions to help your group maintain its pace of play:
• Your group should be at your starting tee at least 5 minutes before your tee time.
• Play ready golf-defifined as doing your pre-shot routine while another is hitting their ball.
• Keep within 2 shots of the group in front of you.
• When playing Carts on Path, take two or three clubs with you to your ball.
• Size up your putt while another golfer is putting, without disrupting their putt or line.
